Japanese Ryokan (A type of Japanese Resort - the best in the world)

Mount Fuji, Japan Trip, November 2002:

Lee and Walt had a great day when Debi Yoshimura ( a friend from Colorado who now lives east of Tokyo) volunteered to drive them out to the Mount Fuji area.  It really is an impressive volcano (last erupted in 1707) because it rises from sea level to 12,388 feet with nothing like Colorado foothills to get in the way of the view.  While these pictures have some clouds in the way, we were very fortunate to have a day where it could be seen, many days it cannot!  Mt Fuji can be seen in Tokyo and in fact could be seen occasionally from my five story apartment building in Jing-u-mae.
